OpenText Consultant
Work in a team of developers focused on the architecture, integration, implementation and maintenance of OpenText modules including data management, application customization and integration of OpenText tools and features. The information analyst will be working with leading edge technology; it is an exciting opportunity to develop and implement solutions for enterprise level systems.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Design, code, test, implement and validate specialized business and technical information technology related programs and systems.
- Work in an area of specialization.
- Identify, analyze and devise solutions to business and technical information technology problems.
- Interact with customers regarding business and technical information technology needs.
- Participate in implementations, upgrades and conversion projects.
- Participate on special market studies or marketing efforts.
- Participate on empowered, virtual teams.
- Manage projects within scope of responsibility.
- Ability to work flexible hours.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience developing software in a business environment.
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science
- Experience with these Livelink modules: Object Importer, eLink, Records Management, Livelink SDK, WebReports, Advanced workflow, LEA, Livelink Explorer, Communities
- Experience with these complimentary components: eForms, Ascent Capture, Livelink configuration, tuning and product upgrade experience
- Livelink User and Group permission modeling
- Livelink troubleshooting and debugging skills
- Release management strategy experience between user environments
- Experience developing and debugging software on various operating systems (Windows, Linux, Unix)
- Work in a team environment with other Livelink and application developers
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent inter-personal skills.
- Positive and professional attitude.
IT Program Manager
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for running complex programs and projects. Right from the designing and development, till the production.
- Undertakes creating strategies for contingency planning and risk mitigation.
- Planning and scheduling project goals, milestones and deliverables.
- Defining requirements and planning the project life cycle deployment.
- Defining resources and schedule for project and program implementation.
- Identifying and solving project issues effectively.
- Overseeing and directing the project engineering team and managing conflicts within the different groups.
- Developing RFP (Requests for Proposals) for external services.
- Performing team assessment and evaluations.
- Exhibiting leadership qualities to define requirements for project risks.
- Possessing skills like organization, presentation and customer service skills.
- Designing and maintaining project and technical documentation.
Qualifications:
- 10+ years of experience developing software in a business environment.
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related fields
