Resolves resourcing and inter-personal conflicts, negotiates changes to resourcing, ensures knowledge is shared among team members such project objectives and deliverables are met• Proactively identifies potential risk events and issues before they occur so that proper mitigating strategies can be developed. Articulates and prioritizes issues and risks at senior executive levels and recommends mitigation strategies for decision makers• Uses appropriate strategies and actions to overcome resistance to change and capitalize on forces in support of change during all stages of projects - concept, definition, planning, implementation and close-out.• Promotes Locus ECM standards and best practices for project management to facilitate control of system quality, adherence to standard methodology and the control of the use of resourcesSoftware Engineer• Design, code, test, implement and validate specialized business and technical information technology related Enterprise Content/Document Management System (ECM) especially around the Open Text ECM Software• Develop and design ECM logical and physical architecture utilizing Open Text products• Identify, analyze and devise solutions to business and technical information technology problems• Participate in upgrades and conversion projects• Participate in support and maintenance of ECM systems• Open Text Livelink management, installation and administration• Train junior staff with respects to Open Text products, Open Text Livelink and act as go-to resource in these productsSolutions/Value Engineer• Provide technical and functional solution leadership to the Sales Team in the analysis of complex customer content and information requirements and design of custom solutions• Act as a pre-sales consultant and solution architect coordinating both pre-sales activities around definition of the requirements as well as post-sales transition and participation in large projects and deployment of the proposed solution• Perform architectural analysis and design in ECM solution for large system environments• Analyze training needs and build training around the business processes rather than pure product functions; develop business-training material
